Electric Golf Trolleys

They have been all the rage for golfers of all ages and abilities for the last few years. It now seems acceptable that the electric golf trolley is not just for use for senior golfers. Go to any club in the UK and you will see them in use by all and sundry.
Yes the electric golf trolley has finally arrived. The game of golf has now become so competitive that if it means that using an electric golf trolley will give you the edge over your playing partners then it is OK. Mental strength is such an important part of competing in sport at any level and never more it seems in golf. Lugging a bag about for 18 holes with full set of golf clubs plus all the extra bits of clothing needed especially this time of year will have an effect your game no matter how fit you are.
Playing in the winter months can take its toll on your endurance and most golf clubs allow the use of golf trolleys all year round. There are plenty of deals to be had at this time of year as retailers try and shift some stock. If you are thinking of purchasing an electric golf trolley it pays to shop around as prices can vary considerably. To help you decide on a purchase visit www.electricgolftrolley.org.uk where you can read up on the latest electric golf trolleys and also get up to prices and in stock information from the leading UK Golf Retailers.

Without doubt, electric golf trollies have made their way to the UK/Ireland and have been accepted by all. They help speed up the game, keep you a bit warmer in the winter and save your energy for playing the beautiful game of golf.
Well, if it’s good for the environment it’s good for me, my club uses only electric golf trollies, not sure whether its for environmental reasons or not! I for one prefer to walk!
@portugal, well technically it would be more environmentally friendly if you didn’t have to charge the golf trollies at all or if they were solar powered, although they would look funny. Personally I still sling my bag over my shoulder and walk the lines, it builds strength and character haha.
With everyone reducing thier carbon footprint, wouldnt it be better to have a solar powered golf buggy? maybe I am onto something :-). I have never used an electric one, but I can see why people do.
I would definitely agree , electric golf trolleys has grown so much recently over the last 2 years in the UK. You only have to look at your local club to see how many more people are using them.
As for comment 4 i don’t think people realise how many solar panels you would need to make up the power needed to run an electric golf trolley.
i also believe that the electric golf trolleys are not only meant for elder golfers and people like me who really don’t like to carry things can also use these
Completely agree. Golf can be affected by your posture and tightening of muscles. Carrying a golf bag can have a negative impact on your posture and can affect your overall swing.
Great blog! I actually love how it is simple on my eyes as well as the info is well written.
