Garmin Approach GPS Rangefinder

Garmin are one of the biggest players in the GPS market and along with TomTom have numerous handheld global positioning devices available. So it wasn’t going to be long before one of them would design a GPS measuring device for golfers.
Enter the Garmin Approach. Available in 2 versions namely the Garmin G5 and the Garmin G3. Both models have basically the same features except that the G5 has a larger screen. The screens on both models are full colour touchscreens that allow the user to plot accurate distances between points on the course.
The Garmin Approach G5 and G3 models work in much the same way as their major rivals in the golf GPS market except that there is no yearly membership fees required to keep the unit up to date with the courses that you want to play.

Been looking at the Garmin G5. Looks like an impressive bit of kit.
The garmins are great - I use one for biking as well as golfing.
Will have to try this out. I will try anything to improve my golf game!
I’ve been trying to decide on a GPS for a while now and the G5 looks pretty cool. Thanks a lot!
Garmin G5 gives the best features to every one.thanks for it/
super piece of tech
I think these are proving increasingly popular with golfers and it’s not hard to see why - they’re a great product.
The golf GPS market is getting very competitive now with some really big players (like Garmin) coming to the table with fresh designs and ideas. It will be interesting where this technology goes over the next few years to help us all hit pin point accurate shots into the greens.
